Šlamštas pagal Judą
2007-06-01Prisimenu, kai man buvo 17 metų, labai norėjau parašyti knygą. Ir pradėjau. Parašiau 4 puslapius kompiuteriu ir palikau, nes mintys keitėsi greičiau nei liedavosi žodžiai. Tai prisiminiau skaitydama Simono Mawerio „Evangeliją pagal Judą“, nes taip ir nesupratau, kodėl ši knyga buvo parašyta.
Tikėjausi kažko lengvo kaip Dano Browno knygos, kurios labiau primena filmus, o ne knygas. Visgi S. Maweris, atrodo, nesuvokė, kam ir kodėl rašė. Mano nuomone, rašė pirkėjams dėl pinigų. Truputį meilės, truputį skausmo, truputį istorijos, truputį religijos – knygoje pateiktas teisingas kokteilis, tik suplaktas ne tokiomis proporcijomis.
Apie neva atrastą evangeliją pagal Judą užsimenama tik įpusėjus knygai, o herojų likimai, kurie turėjo susipainioti mįslingai, pateikti lėkštai. O ši knyga netgi prilyginta Umberto Eco „Rožės vardui“. Na, tai tas pats, kas mūsų Nataliją Zvonkę prilyginti Paris Hilton. Knygos vertimas turbūt pretenduotų į blogiausią metų vertimą, jame palikta daugybė korektūros klaidų.
Esu perskaičiusi knygų, kurios man nepatiko, bet turbūt šita yra vienintelė, kurios nerekomenduočiau niekam. Tai net nebe popsinė literatūra, tai tiesiog šlamštas.

Del korekturos klaidu – jos rodo, kad knyga versta paskubomis, labai nesigilinant nei i vertima, nei i redagavima – svarbiausia kuo greiciau preke iskisti skaitytojams zinant, kad ji bus populiari. Jau vien tai paaiskina, kad knyga nera “stipri”. Stai H. Wassmo “Tora” (pirmoji trilogijos dalis) isversta puikiai – nei korekturos, nei stiliaus klaidu, malonu skaityti. Kai neskubi parduoti, isverti geriau :)
