Manęs kartais klausia, kaip aš pasirenku, ką skaityti. Niekada nežinau, ką atsakyti :) Jeigu skaitai mažai, tikiu, kad pasirinkti gerokai sunkiau. Aš jau žinau autorius, pvz., J. Moyes rašo mielus, lengvai skaitomus, sentimentalius, bet tuo pačiu ir kokybiškus romanus. Dažniausiai su laiminga pabaiga, o jei ir nelaiminga, tai teisinga. Taigi, jei norisi skaityti romaną, geriau rinktis J. Moyes, o ne ką nors iš tų mažų knygučių minkštais viršeliais, kur nėra stiliaus, pilna korektūros klaidų, klaikus vertimas, o pats romanas banalesnis už banaliausią televizinę muilo operą.
“Vienas plius vienas” yra tikras romanas, su žmonėmis, kamuojamais problemų, daugybe atsitiktinumų, vargšų ir turtingų priešprieša, bėdomis dėl sutuoktinių, bėdomis dėl vaikų, bėdomis dėl teisinių reikalų ir, žinoma, meilės istorija. Visas veiksmas vyksta kelionėje ir labai sunku atsitraukti, nes automobilis vis važiuoja, įvykiai rutuliojasi, vienas skyrius veja kitą ir tada pajunti, kad jau 4 val. ryto, o tu knygą perskaitei per pusę nakties. Labai gera literatūra galvai pravėdinti, bet ir šleikštulio nesukelia.
