Skanusis oranžinis keksas
2009-03-17Tai vienas iš nedaugelio kepinių, su kuriais aš netingiu terliotis. O terliotis man reiškia: tarkuoti morkas (nors ačiū vyrui, šį darbą visuomet padaro jis), trinti gvazdikėlius su imbieru, tarkuoti žieveles. Bet verta, tikrai. Šiaip nesu keksų mėgėja, bet šitas yra minkštutis, o skonis – nenusakomai gaivus.

“Mmm… Net nesitikėjau, kad jo skonis toks… nu toks…” (V.)
Dabar, kai jau išgyriau, galiu ir receptą parašyti :) Beje, jis paimtas iš žurnalo “Moters savaitgalio” virtuvė”. Reikės:
200 gr cukraus. Originaliame recepte turi būti rudasis. Aš visada naudojau paprastą.
100 gr sviesto
200 gr miltų
3 kiaušinių
3 šaukštų aliejaus
2 arbatinių šaukštelių kepimo miltelių
2 šaukštų medaus
1.5 stiklinės smulkiai tarkuotų morkų. Jų dedu iš akies – tai gali būti 5 nupiepusios morkytės arba 2 morkos-milžinės. Tarkuojamos irgi pagal nuotaiką, dažniausiai dalis sutrinama visai smulkia tarka, o dalis sutarkuojama stambesne (žinoma, ne burokine).
Tarkuotų apelsino ir citrinos žievelių – kartais vieno apelsino ir vienos citrinos, kartais po pusę.
Žiupsnelio gvazdikėlių. Aš imu nesmulkintus ir trinu pati. Galima pirkti ir miltelius.
Župsnelio cinamono.
Nykščio nago gabaliuko imbiero. Vėlgi sutrinu pati. Galima pirkti maltus, nors manau, kad šviežias – skaniau.
Kekso formą (nors galima turbūt ir bet kokią kitą) ištepkite sviestu, margarinu arba išklokite kepimo popieriumi. Ištirpinkite sviestą (čia geriausia naudotis mikrobangų krosnele), supilkite į dubenį. Tada suberkite cukrų, įmuškite kiaušinius, supilkite aliejų, įdėkite medaus ir viską išmaišykite. Tada priedų eilė – cinamonas, apelsino ir citrinos žievelės, imbieras, gvazdikėliai, galima įlašinti kelis lašiukus vanilės esencijos. Tada suberkite miltus ir kepimo miltelius, dar pamaišykite, o po to įmaišykite tarkuotas morkas. Kuo stambiau jos sutarkuotos, tuo pyragas bus puresnis. Tačiau tuo didesnė rizika, kad jis subyrės. Kai masė pasidaro klampi, galima ją pilti į kepimo formą ir kišti į orkaitę. Kepkite 180 laipsnių temperatūroje apie 50 minučių arba 160 laipsnių temperatūroje kiek daugiau nei valandą. Aš renkuosi ilgesnį variantą.
Iškepusį atvėsinkite šiek tiek, iškrapštykite lauk iš formos ir greitai suvalgykite, kol dar yra :) Skanaus!

2013-08-22 14:04Keksas atrodo skanus, bet rekomenduoju nenaudoti margarino, nes tai transriebalai, jokiu būdu nenaudoti mirkobangų krosnelės, kuri suardo ląsteles, nekalbant apie prekybinkų nutylimą spinduliavimą ir vanilės esenciją keisti natūralia vanile (iš vanilės ankšties). Tuomet bet koks kepinys bus naminis, o ne iš parduotuvės, kur neaišku, ką deda.

Kam gaminti tai, ką ir taip galima nusipirkti parduotuvėje (kepinių iš margarino ir su visokiais priedais)? Nebent žmogus nežino, kaip kitaip praleisti laiką ir jam nesvarbu, ką valgo. Todėl, šio pyrago recepte pakeitus kokybiškais ingredientais, jis būtų nuostabus.
