Neil Gaiman “Kapinių knyga”
2012-10-24Šio rašytojo turiu “Kapinių knygą” ir “Anansio vaikus”. Nežinau kodėl, bet pradėjau nuo mažiau išreklamuotos. Galvojau, kad skaitysiu vaikui vakarais, bet ties pirmu puslapiu, kuriame vyko žudynės, persigalvojau. Nieko tokio, suėjo ir man gerai. Kelių valandų skaitaliukas smegenims ataušinti.

Pasaka. Istorija neva remiasi “Džiunglių knyga”, panašus ir pavadinimas. Na, nežinau, nežinau… Be to, kad vaiką užaugino ne žmonės, panašumų čia daugiau neįžvelgiau. Berniukas, kurio šeima išžudoma, užauga kapinėse, prižiūrimas vaiduoklių, Dievo šuns, raganos ir visokių girdėtų ir negirdėtų padarų. Išgalvoti jie labai smagiai, ypač man patiko pikuoliai – mintyse nupiešiau su jais gražų paveikslą, kaži, gal kada ir į realybę perkelsiu.
Blogiečiai. Jų draugija pavadinta tiesiog Džekais. Deja, rašytojas buvo taip įsijautęs į kapinių gyvenimą, kad pamiršo labiau išplėtoti piktadarių temą. Jie buvo, jie yra ir jų nebebus, tačiau ką ir kodėl jie veikia, aprašyta gal tik keliais sakiniais. Trūksta išsamumo ir dėl to siužetas knygos pabaigoje subyrėjo į gabalus.

Būtinai dar paskaityk “Amerikos dievus”. Na, ir “Žvaigždžių dulkes”. Pastaroji gal kiek panašesnė į “Kapinių knygą”. O “dievai” – jau rimtas epas :)
O “pikuoliai” yra wtf išversti ghoulai. TOTAL WTF.

O “Amerikos dievus” siūlyčiau skaityti prieš “Anansio vaikus” – vaika itai toks spinoffas.
