2012-09-23Na, “Krikštatėvį” tai reikia perskaityti, pasakė mano tėtis imdamas knygą iš mano lentynų. O aš tariau sau, kad pagaliau gi perskaitysiu visai ne savo stiliaus knygą – “Traukinių žymėjimą”. Nes reikia, nors ir truputį bijau pradėti. Bijojau be reikalo.

Originalo kalba. Neskaitau aš knygų originalo kalba, kartais tik vokiškas. Visgi čia originalo kalbos truputį norėjosi. Vertimas baisokas. Aišku, nelengva išversti visas tas škotų-anglų peripetijas ir narkomanų kalbą, todėl nieko ir nesmerkiu. Bet ai, nusprendžiau, kad geriau filmą anglų kalba pasižiūrėsiu :)
Fucking supisti keiksmai. Iš pradžių knyga papiktino keiksmažodžių gausumu. Papiktino ne dėl to, kad esu nesikeikianti šventuolė, o dėl to, kad man jie atrodė nereikalingi ir erzino. Suprantu, suprantu, tas jų “fuck” ir “fucking”, kuris lietuviškai buvo išverstas kaip “supistas”, vartojamas tos terpės žmonių taip pat dažnai, kaip mūsų statybininkų rusiški bl ir nx. Bet vis tiek – vos ne kas trečias žodis dialoguose… Galvojau, kad būtų galima sutaupyti kokių 20 puslapių knygos juos išmetus :) O bet tačiau… Vėliau taip įpratau, kad kai kurios pastraipos be keiksmažodžių ėmė atrodyti tarsi ne iš šitos knygos, tokios ne į temą.
Narkotikai. Na, taip, visi žino, kad ta istorija apie narkomanus. Bet ne. Ji dar ir apie alkoholizmą, apie futbolą, apie muštynes, apie ŽIV ir visas su tuo susijusias ligas, apie pinigus, apie mirtį, apie gimimą, apie lyčių lygybę. Super. Knyga gi, pasirodo, kapsto daug giliau, nei aš maniau. O narkotikai… na, supūliavusios dūrių vietos, visiškas bukagalviškumas, skeletiški kūnai, pajuodę paakiai ir pabalę veidai, kaulų laužymas, ŽIV grėsmė, prasmirdusios landynės, nuolatinis dozės troškimas, nesugebėjimas sustoti… štai tau ir narkotikai. Bet čia dar nieko. Geriausia vieta, parodanti, kas yra narkotikai, yra knygos pradžioje. Kai pagrindinis veikėjas Rentonas, vis bandantis mesti heroiną, neišveria ir suspaudęs užpakalį (nes jam tuoj paleis vidurius) nukeliauja pas narkotikų prekeivį. Tas gi duoda jam dvi opiumo žvakutes, kurios, iš pradžių atsidūrusios užpakalyje, gana greitai su visu žarnų turiniu nusėda kažkokiame prišnerkštame tualete. Ir štai:
Man nusiritus nuo unitazo, keliai tėkšteli į apmyžtas grindis. Džinsai nusmunka ir godžiai geria šlapimą, bet aš to veik nepastebiu. Atsiraitoju marškinių rankovę ir, žiūrėdamas į savo šlykščias ir vietomis pūliuojančias žaizdas nuo adatų, svyruoju tiktai akimirksnį, prieš sugrūsdamas savo rankas iki alkūnių į rudą vandenį. Kruopščiai grabinėju ir tuojau pat ištraukiu vieną iš savo bombų. Nušluostau prilipusį prie jos šūdą. Šiek tiek aptirpusi, bet dar sveika. Padedu ją ant bakelio dangčio. Surasti kitai prireikė ilgokai pasirausti tarp daugybės šauniųjų Miuirhuso ir Piltono ponterių palikto jovalo ir unitazo turinio. Kartą aš apsigavau, bet suradau savo baltą aukso grynuolį, stebėtinai išsilaikiusį net geriau už pirmąjį. Vandens pojūtis kelia man didesnį šleikštulį už pačias išmatas. Mano rudai purvina ranka primena klasikinį nudegimą saulėje su trumparankoviais marškinėliais. Riba eina kaip tik virš alkūnės, nes man reikėjo įlįsti net už išlinkimo.
Voilà. Štai kas yra narkotikai.
